All Burr Abrador mounting assemblies are made to superior quality standards to insure longevity of life and ease of use. Adapter bolts and mounting pilots are made of aircraft quality steel, heat treated, tempered, and plated to provide wrenching surfaces that will withstand continuous industrial use. Standard hex bolts are grade 5 and plated for corrosion resistance. Mounting hubs are low carbon steel with wrench flats and plated for corrosion resistance. In addition the short and long adapter bolts use a special blind broaching process to eliminate a thru hole. This process prevents debris from building up and packing inside the mounting hub.
